The museum itself isn't too big, but you can easily spend a whole day in there, just noticing all the carefully placed diorama details. There's seasonal dioramas, working trains and interactive sounds/actions buttons for the visitors to push. The hilarious details make it a superbly thought out miniatures showcase. I won't give out any spoilers, though! We visited on a Saturday morning, luckily it was early enough, so we had the whole display to ourselves. The hostess was very kind, talked to us about the history behind the collection, who Valentin Banciu was and how he managed to amass so many wonderful pieces. We were even given a little treat, the ability to see the display in the dark, truly amazing for visitors of all ages! Entrance fee was about the price of a burger, but you get much more out of it :)
A novel and unusual collection of military costumes and objects from the communist era. There is an elementary school classroom, a living room and much more!
