Experience the enchantment of days gone by. Classic general store brimming with hard-to-find heirloom wares revives treasured memories. In the redwood empire on California’s north coast, the Victorian Village Ferndale.
Strolled down Main St Ferndale with the fam on 4th of July. Browsed the merchandise and pleasantly surprised by the historical museum upstairs! Wide variety of merch is fun but the attention to detail in the unexpected accuracy of the museum was a thrilling delight for this history buff!!! Loved to see it! Thank you!

This is a must see if in Arcata and you enjoy the artistry of jewelry. Upon entering you are greeted by an assistant who offers to help you find something in particular or just wander and look at the great selection of products on display. They also offer you a coffee, cappucino or water...very welcoming!! There is an informative display and video showing the beginnings of this business, the processes used, materials used and you can observe the assembly and design areas. Each assembly station is personalized by the artist with pictures of family. This shows the values of this business. The artistry is unique and well worth the time to visit.

We are a family owned and operated, local community art collective with diversity and vision. Made on site, we feature functional wood burl products, such as tables, bowls, plates, clocks, lamps, and boxes. We make metal art, fountains, mirrors, cribbage boards, vases, baskets, felt art, and so much more! We feature an onsite lapidary, Jay, who creates one of a kind cut gem stones. Sharing the workshop, Sarah is a jeweler creating custom and one of a kind jewelry fabrications. Located in Southern Humboldt County, California on the Avenue of the Giants. Come in and explore the arts and crafts of our local community. We will be adding featured local artists' work and new items often. Enjoy your experience viewing art in this beautiful atmosphere! If you are in Garberville, don't miss this unique shop, filled with interesting and quirkly merchandise you won't find everywhere. There are so many things to look at, and you can find gifts for friends, family, and yourself that won't empty your wallet.

We are a small batch, bean to bar craft chocolate maker using ONLY two ingredients in our award winning bars; cacao & cane sugar. Come by and see how our chocolate is made. Check our website for tour dates/times otherwise stop by and see our retail boutique anytime.
The tours were sold out but we went to check it out anyway because we’d heard good things. There are lots of chocolates to sample including the super rich drinking chocolate. We also enjoyed a very thorough explanation of how chocolate is made. I bought a gift to send to a friend in VA (free shipping for purchases of $25 or more). And of course we bought some to eat later. Our visit was about 45 minutes and then walked into Old Town Eureka.

Enjoyed some gift shopping in this scenic little town. The bookstore had a nice selection of books, gifts & art. Also an interesting 2nd hand bookshelf. We got the kids a ukulele and they already started playing it on our road trip!!!
