A fantastic day - we were picked up from our place of choice in the city and driven to beautiful sights in Hue. Whilst on the journey, our driver (Mr Dzung) was really informative about the city and its history. He was great for the entire day! He waited whilst we took our time exploring each place, giving us facts about the places we saw. He also accommodated us and took us to a specific street food place we wanted and a cake shop when we wanted sweets.

My partner and I booked this tour through Oriental Colours in Vietnam, once again the service and tour was fantastic. The private car was new with a safe and experienced driver. Our tour guide for the day was Hoa,he spoke fluent english and his knowledge of the sights and Vietnam was incredible. Fantastic day 10/10

Very good experience, we rented two motorbikes Yamaha scooters of 155cv in very good shape. Very reasonable price and the support of the owner all the time, we had to change the oil and recharge cooler liquid on motorbikes in different locations in our trip and he refunded our money without any problem. If you want to hire a motorbike or make a daily adventure in Hue don’t hesitate to visit Motorvina.

5. DMZ Bus Phong Nha - Vinh Moc Tunnel - Hue
Vinh Moc (Vịnh Mốc) is a tunnel complex in Quang Tri, Vietnam ,built to shelter people from the intense bombing of Son Trung and Son Ha communes in Vinh Linh County of Quang Tri Province in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone . The villagers initially dug the tunnels to move their village 10 meters underground but the American forces designed bombs that burrowed down 10 metres. Eventually against these odds , the villagers moved the village to a depth of 30 metres . It was constructed in several stages , beginning in 1966 , and used until early 1972.The complex grew to include wells, kitchens, rooms for each family and spaces for healthcare . Around 60 families lived in the tunnels; as many as 17 children were born inside the tunnels. The tunnels were deemed a success and only a few villagers lost their lives.

The 1st km was not impressive. Too much artificial lighting. Too many people who do not truly appreciate nature and understand the value of what they are experiencing. The wonder started the moment you left the wooden walkway onto the cave platform, and walk for another 6km into the dark. We took the tour at the end of May. We had to wear protective helmets. The cave was huge and cool, decorated with stalactites and stalagmites of various sizes and shapes. Once we turned off all the lights and stood in absolute darkness and silence to experience the sounds inside the cave. We swam across a little stream. The water was refreshing. We did some rock climbing. Not dangerous at all, just kind of adding spices to the walk. At the end of the cave, the cave opened and let a stream of sunshine pour in. The tour guides brought lunch for us. The grilled chicken was so yummy. It was a marvelous trip. We highly recommend this tour.
