A favorite getaway for Bangkok residents, Hua Hin is a pretty beachside town. Family friendly and relaxed, it lacks the all-night partying and seedier aspects that make other nearby beach resorts a haven for unsavory characters. Once a small fishing village, it was transformed into a royal resort, and it’s these close links with Thai royalty that ensure Hua Hin won’t become overdeveloped or lose its small-town vibe.

A nice place to spend the evenings where you can browse the arts and crafts, sit in the open air and listen to live music, you have a great choice of food, the Cicada market though is only open at the weekends and can be very busy if you a going by car.

Food everywhere, and if your shopping for clothing, trinket, or just out to enjoy the evening this is the place to go. Evening is the time when Hua Hin comes to life, any time after 6 p.m. the streets near the Bazaar are bustling with vendors and visitors and make sure to stop at Ron Fai for dinner atleast once, the best food I've ever had.

As you walk through the night market local vendors display seafood that was caught locally that day, the lobster and shrimp or prawns are a specialty. Enjoy
