Played here yesterday (late October). The weather was so interchangeable rain, wind, sunshine, freezing cold, stormy...and yet that made my experience even better up on those beautiful hills. The views are absolutely magnificent. Presumed it would be no better than Cleeve Hill or Church Stretton but its lightyears better! Due to the height, the course itself handles the extreme weather really well. Lots of sheep dotted around to maintain the fairways etc. The greens were in fantastic shape. The course layout if easy to follow and has some really interesting holes. I shot mid 90s which is about usual for me. Good pro shop. Nice bar, restaurant, friendly staff. Bit tight on parking when its busy though. £25 a round and it was just me up there. What an absolutely pleasure.

Called for an impromptu visit on a rainy day and had great fun ten pin bowling. Good covid measures in place. There is also a mini golf and driving range too plus a nice cafe/restaurant. We'll worth a visit.

Sapey Golf Club & Country Club, Worcestershire is a 27 hole parkland course with water features, outstanding views over the Malvern Hills, set on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. There's also 4 spacious lodges for groups of friends looking for a relaxing retreat or golf break.
We stayed in the porthcawl lodge this weekend as a group of 4 girls for a relaxing weekend away. The lodge was exceptionally clean!! Lovely and modern feel throughout and very comfortable. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay. It rained all weekend but to be honest it gave us even more of an excuse to stay in, cosy down and make use to the jacuzzi on the balcony area. The area is so so quiet you can’t hear a thing and views over the golf course are lovely. Saturday evening we had dinner over the road at the baiting house which was delicious. We had a little problem on the Friday evening with our heating but this was sorted ASAP and in a friendly manner, nothing was a hassle at all and we were offered a refund for one night stay because of this without question. I have already booked to go again with my family in January :) ideal for friend groups, family and couples. Thank you for such a lovely weekend.
