Haleʻiwa is a North Shore community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Waialua District of the island of Oʻahu, City and County of Honolulu. Haleʻiwa is located on Waialua Bay, the mouth of Anahulu Stream (also known as Anahulu River). A small boat harbor is located here, and the shore of the bay is surrounded by Haleʻiwa Beach Park (north side) and Haleʻiwa Aliʻi Beach Park (south side). Further west from the center of town is Kaiaka State Recreation Area on Kiaka Point beside Kaiaka Bay. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 3,970. It is the largest commercial center on the North Shore of the island. Its old plantation town character is preserved in many of the buildings, making this a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, visiting surfing and diving sites along the north shore.

So wonderful to see Wyland works again! I have been fascinated by Wyland since the time his murals were seen all through Honolulu decades ago. Works featuring dolphins and underwater scenes are classic staples with a richness of colour that is beguiling. A selection of sizes and prices are available so you can have a Wyland for your home, wherever it may be. A must see -

The Rainbow Bridge is an iconic part of Oahu’s North Shore area in the town of Haleiwa. It isn’t grand and impressive but that would be out of character for this area. We enjoy visiting the nearby beach park and paddle boarding underneath it. Every time I have been I have seen at least one turtle. It is a historic setting in a great beach town.

Located on the outskirts of Haleiwa Town , just on the Ocean side of the Highway. Nice memory for the fallen Veterans of WWII from Waialua and Haleiwa - dedicated by the Local Chapter of the Lions Club. For being exposed to all the harsh weather elements - it is well maintained.
