This Museum shows first hand the ancient art of Patola weaving. It is a unique double Ikat style of weaving where the thread are dyed first as per the design and then the weaving happens. They will show you first hand a working loom. For 35 generations the Salvi family has been involved in this art. They have collected awards from work over and will show you fabrics that is more than a 200 years old. The cost of each saree or any other piece of cloth is high if you want to purchase it.

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition (VSSE) is a "Mini ISRO" open to everyone free of cost. It gives knowledge to its visitors on the significant advancements and achievements made by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The exhibition is also aimed at generating interest about science in the young minds and inspiring them to make a career in space industry. A person who visits the exhibition will get a glimpse of entire range of ISRO activities covering satellites, launch vehicles and applications of the satellites. The visitors will get an idea how our country is greatly benefitted by the space program. The exhibition has two floors and one 3D auditorium. Some of the major attractions of the exhibition are a 3D auditorium, Light and Sound show on Solar System, the virtual presenter, 3D Holographic Display and Augmented Reality. It also has a special Kids Section and a Quiz Section. In short, if you want to know who formed ISRO, why it was formed, what it does, how it does that and how much it entertains you in your daily life while also making your life safe then VSSE is the place to come to and learn the answers. Visited today on 31 Aug, amazing museum, 3 hour well crafted guided tour, privately managed property, amazing collection, neat and clean, depicts rich Heritage of culture, preserved things remarkably and offers free tea and snacks at last. Need to book online as only 20 persons allowed in a time bound tour. Simply awesome who has interest to explore historical places and antiques.
