July 24, 2021 Leonarda Pillsbury

Green Bay, Wisconsin, is home to the Cheeseheads, fans of the Green Bay Packers, a NFL team so successful that Green Bay has nicknamed itself "Titletown, USA." There is more to Green Bay than just exciting football and delicious dairy products, however. There are beautifully manicured rows of flowers at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, and hiking paths and a natural history museum at the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity. Visit the historic collection of train cars at the National Railroad Museum.

Meyer Theatre

This fully restored turn of the century theatre is a wonderful place to visit! They did a Great Job restoring this turn of the century Theatre! We've been there for the Mayors Yearly public address and we've been there for many of the artists they book. Nunsense was probably one of the favorites but they have everything from music to comedy so check their website for tickets. Usually, the cost for tickets seems to run on the high side but then if you want to see live entertainment you have to pay a premium these days.

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, located on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, is known for its elegant design and the acoustic excellence of its 2,000-seat main hall, Cofrin Family Hall. The Center is home to top national and international touring productions and artists, northeast Wisconsin community events, and university programs.

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts has a wide variety of shows and an array of musical performances to offer during the year. The facility has one of the best acoustics that I have experienced. Parking is very convenient and Valet is offered. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and extremely helpful. The Weidner offers an Off-Broadway experience that...well...needs to be experienced!
