The Hive by VH Interiors is a General Store & Beverage Bar located in Altrincham. The store and bar are OPEN Tues-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 10am-5pm & Sun 10am-4pm. We (Steven & Gareth) started out at Altrincham Market in 2015 with a regular concession at the “Outdoor Department Store”. In 2018 we opened a bricks and mortar shop called “The Hive” which is on Grosvenor Road. We have recently left Altrincham Market and rebranded our shop to a General Store and Beverage Bar. As well as a great selection of antique, mid century & vintage items which range from large furniture to smaller homewares. We also stock a great selection of carefully curated modern lines such as natural candles, eco friendly hardwares, gardeners supplies and great gifts options. The Beverage Bar serves a selection of hot espresso based coffee’s, iced coffees, milkshakes and other monthly special drinks.

This large vintage fashion, furniture and lifestyle shop is located just outside Manchester on exit 27 or 25 of the M60. We are housed in the Grade 2 Listed Edwardian Pear Mill which is easily accessibly by car and public transport (Bus: 330 or 384). PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAFE IS A SEPARATE BUSINESS. Look for the Giant Pear! Free parking around the mill. We've even got a vintage sewing seamstress available for tailoring needs.
We are regular visitors to the vintage tea rooms in the emporium, delighted they have reopened offering a safe take away service. The food is outstanding, amazing sausage and egg barm, the leek and potato soup is up there with the best I’ve tasted. Always fresh, hot and served quickly. We had the homemade burgers which are a new addition to the menu, amazing ???? They do great coffee and cakes too with a huge selection. Cornflake cake is one of my favourites. Great vibe, good tunes and some great vintage clothing and jewellery!! We will be back soon, thank you!
