A very top class golf course, a great layout, fantastic condition. The staff in the club house and pro shop are super efficient and friendly. Little Nicky really looked after us. A must play experience.

Sunday 23/02/2020 around mid morning we visited Coombe Wood a picturesque little gem a stones throw from home. Coombe Wood cafe is a gem within a gem, really nice good value meal at reasonable prices. A perfect end to our visit.

Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Finalists in 2019/20 and Carabao Cup Semi-Finalists in 2020/21, Brentford Football Club are making great strides on and off the pitch. In 2020, having called Griffin Park our home since 1904, we moved to a brand new, 17,250-seater stadium. Situated next to the M4, Brentford Community Stadium is located a short distance from both Heathrow Airport and Central London. Four-time winner of the EFL Community Club of the Year Award and the only professional football club in the UK with a Business in the Community and Community Mark Award, Brentford is striving to become the most inclusive club in the country. We are committed to giving the same great experience to all our visitors, with Brentford Community Stadium fully accessible to wheelchair users. Brentford Community Stadium is also the home of Premiership Rugby club London Irish, so whether it’s football or rugby, we’ve got you covered!
Old school football field, homie and full of passion. Watched Brentford defeating Ipswich there, really enjoyed the game and atmosphere.

Myself and my young family have been going here for the last 5 years . We always have a lovely time here . There are always senior members of staff supervising weekend staff , which are all polite and great at helping with the couple of birthday parties we have had . We visited on 24 th November , this visit made us realise how difficult and very rude some member of the public can be . We arrived at 2.30pm along with a very aggressive rude elderly lady . From the moment she arrived she was awlful , we did nearly go home , but thought it proberbly wouldn’t last . We were wrong , we had to sit very close to this party as their reserved seating was next to the only other table available. I’m not sure why they stayed as them seemed to be complaining about everything ! The very professional manager tried to reason with them but their language just got worse . My husband witnessed a man call a mature woman working behind the food counter a disgusting name . The manager then asked them to leave as she would not tolerate the abuse. They wouldn’t ! The grandmother then started to poke this lady so she then said she was calling the police and they were getting physically abusive as well . Other families were watching this as were we , I must admit I I had to stop my husband from getting involved as to back up the manager . Their language and aggressive behaviour was not acceptable and totally inappropriate for a children’s play centre . Thankfully they did go ! The atmosphere in the whole centre changed and we continued to enjoy our afternoon . Whatever reason they had to complain about it should not have been carried out with verbal and physical abuse . The centre was glad to see them go . I applaud the staff in the way they dealt with the situation . Timbuk2 has had a massive makeover recently on the play equipment and is spotlessly clean , as much as a place can be with 100 or so children running around . Yes we were aware of their latest food rating but discussed this over the phone before we attended on Sunday and as the council also states it was down to a boiler not working but measures had been put in place . This has been rectified and the rating has gone back up to its original 5! ( this does not show for a week on the council site ) We look forward to going again this weekend especially for the Paninis and best chips around . Well done Timbuk2 for keeping your call in a difficult situation ????
