Adelaide Arcade is a beautiful shopping experience with an exciting atmosphere. When next in the city treat yourself with a visit to Adelaide Arcade, take the time to meet a friend, enjoy a coffee or just browse for a while you’ll be surprised by what you’ll find. Adelaide Arcade was built in 1886 and is a beautiful place to relax and shop. Visit Adelaide's best jewellers and Adelaides only place to admire exclusive watches from Rolex, Cartier and many more. Adelaide Arcade's boutique's pride themselves on personal service with a smile.
My wife and I find ourselves in the city. There was some thought about visiting the Art Gallery, but the Arcade won out! First an excellent coffee and cake at the Coffee Spot, and then a browse up and down the Arcade. We enjoyed chatting to the managers of the Games Shop with its vast range of games, puzzles and jigsaws. We then resisted the urge to visit Haigh’s Chocolates, having over-indulged at Christmas. The Button Shop is an amazing experience, and there is a very interesting Arts Gallery around in Gay’s Arcade. It is worth stopping to view the (covered) steps down to the old tearooms beneath the main arcade, and then a stop at the Card Shop with its helpful owner and extensive range of gift cards. We found this a wonderful way to spend an hour in the city!

The Parade Norwood is a great destination for food, shopping, movies and various festivals/ activities that are held held on parts of the parade during the year when sections of the road are closed off to cars. There are 4 pubs, at least 5 cafes, Hoyts cinema, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Italian & Pizza, food options - pretty much anything that your hunger desires. A great variety of shopping from the chain store to specialty. The Parade has seen a lot of changes over the past 20 years, and certainly has evolved into a popular destination.

Taking a slow walk through Rundle Mall is worth the time because there is lots to see. Shopping stores, tourist stores, eating places, side street malls, plus numerous street performers & interactive art displays (large, life-size walk-through doll house when we visited). Interesting and fun.

Adelaide's only Outlet Shopping Centre with over 130 Outlet stores including top Australian and International brands at 30-70% off the recommended retail price. Harbour Town is conveniently located only 15 minutes from the City of Adelaide, 5 minutes from Adelaide Airport and 10 minutes from the seaside suburb of Glenelg.
When we went the day was not the best, but this area has plenty of options for a couple of hours to grab a bargain

A clean, welcoming shopping centre, easy parking.A huge shopping centre with a great variety of shops. The largest stores are Myer and David Jones. K Mart and Harris Scarfe are also featured. Many delicious eating areas, cafes and a good selection of stalls in the food hall. However when we visited this time, many eating areas etc were affected by corona virus restrictions and only take away food was available.
