Grand Lake Nordic Center offers 35km of groomed scenic ski trails. One of our favorite trails "River Run" is parallel and crosses the Colorado River. We also offer snow shoe trails and a tubing hill. After skiing you may relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate along with a scenic panorama view of Rocky Mountain National Park.
I raced at GLNC years ago, it was wonderful the course conditions, the beautiful setting. Best ever!

Best guided horseback ride we have ever taken. Our 6 year old twins had their own horses that were gentle. Our guide was sweet and local to the area. These horses were the most reaponsive trail ride horses we have ridden before. Scenery and views are amazing. Oir girla got to love on horses at the fence for a long time after the ride.

We offer guided snowcat skiing and riding for the powder addict. Our terrain consists of high alpine bowls, gladed meadows, rock bands, open chutes and gullies. The high altitude combined with good Northern exposure keeps our snow cold and light. Operating in the Jones Pass area with an operating permit of 2,600 acres, we have the powder, vertical and adventure for an epic powder experience. All seats include Safety Equipment (Mammut Pulse Beacons, Shovel, Probe, RECCO), Professional Guide Team (4:1 Guest Guide Ratio), Access to our K2 Powder Skis (Pinnacle 118 and PON200N models), Lunch catered by Rudi's Deli, and Craft Beer Provided by Steamworks Brewery at the end of the trip.

Nice park around the corner from our Sawmill townhouse with a sledding hill and lots of sleds provided, nice stage for performances, beautiful trail with a creek and signs of wildlife

3 miles or so round trip around the lake. We went early fall and one side of the lake was covered in snow. Nice hike without too much beetle kill everywhere, especially on one side of the lake. Moose in the area. Great place for a picture. And the drive in along Lake Granby is beautiful.
