We are an official surf school in the south of Gran Canaria. With the headquarters and classroom at the foot of the sand dunes of Maspalomas, we offer high-quality surf classes – from a one-day-experience for beginners to intermediate/advanced classed. Thanks to being mobile, we choose every day the best beach for learning depending on the conditions – great waves, fun and safe tuition at non-touristy, uncrowded beaches all around the island!

Buen Surf School was born in August 2016 on the north coast of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. We are located on the beach of La Cicer, which is a spot located in the capital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specifically on the beach of Las Canteras (a 3km beach made from dark volcanic sand that can be considered the center of surfing and bodyboard in Gran Canaria). Since its foundation in 2016, at Buen Surf School we have very clear values; proximity, dedication and passion to share our lifestyle with everyone who is interested in having a good time surfing with us. Its’ founding partner Javier Antúnez, escaped from a business lifestyle to create this concept surf school that is so close and familiar that it makes you feel the passion for this sport and live its lifestyle to the fullest. The Big Blue Team was born as a precursor of our wonderful Multiadventure and Multiacuatic Activities. Nowadays, we have diversified our activitity and in addition to our aquatic experience packages we promote multi-adventure experiences suc as scubadiving, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddle surfing, mountain biking, kayaking, booguies and jet skies.. We are based in Gran Canaria on the Canary islands, and develope these activities mainly in the South-East area. Our young and multicultural team together with the long experienced owner, Paco Romero, provide a youth, personal and confident atmosphere. OCEANSIDE GRAN CANARIA is a company in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain) in which everything revolves around this wonderful activity called surfing. We began as a Surf Shop on Las Canteras Beach more than 10 years ago, and since then we haven’t stopped growing. Currently we run the Offical Quiksilver & Roxy Surf School, a Surf Travel Agency and a Stand Up Paddle Center. Our range of services has gradually expanded and we now organise surf camps for all levels, surfaris to the island’s best waves, summer camps for children up to the age of 15, Surfing, Bodyboarding and Paddleboarding lessons 363 days a year, customised training for advanced surfers, equipment hire of all kinds… All in all, we have everything you need to enjoy your stay on the island of Gran Canaria to the full.
