We stumbled across this little bar whilst on a walk and dropped in for a pint. It was a marvellously quirky place with friendly staff, really tasty and unusual beer and lots of games like connect 4 scattered around. Would certainly recommend.

The Bunkhouse - Bar & Live Music Venue, Est. September 2018. The Bunkhouse is Swansea’s newest bar and public space - the building is made up of 2 separate rooms, a general bar/lounge/pub area and a venue room comprising of large stage, top of the range PA system and lighting. We pride ourselves on supporting local and 100% of our draught products are supplied by local brewers.
During lockdown we’ve found it very hard to get takeaway to suit us all as myself and my children are Vegan and my husband isn’t. Found out from someone on Facebook about the Bunkhouse and discovered they had lots of vegan choices. We ordered a takeaway for delivery and they did not disappoint. The food was gorgeous and the service outstanding. Can’t wait to order from there again.

Every single time I go out drinking this is my no1 choice! Amazing cocktails, music and the best vibes. Even now it has been changed to table service only it’s still so much fun????

Traditional pub with microbrewery on site, brewing Pilot Gold, Wrecker, Black Storm, SUP IPA, Revolver, Dwbl Trwbl and Furr Lager. There are usually up to three of our beers available, along with three guest beers and Bass on draught. In addition we have three keg beers, lager, Guiness, keg and cask cider. We serve a selection of hot drinks all year. We don't do food and do not accept credit/debit cards. Well behaved children (until 9pm) and dogs are very welcome. Conversation is king, there is no juke box, music, fruit machines or TV (apart from eg rugby occasionally). A selection of traditional pub games and books of local interest are available. Our busiest times are early evening especially on a Friday and Saturday, so be warned you may struggle to get to the bar
I have to confess this is a regular pub at the end of a fantastic cycle ride along the promenade from the Marina in the summer. With excellent Ales brewed on-site and Guest Ales making an appearance, the vista overlooking Swansea bay is the perfect spot to drink one of the splendid Ales. The Staff are fantastic as is the Chief Brewer. Dog friendly - it has everything.

Went in for a drink and conversation with friends who live nearby. This is the real thing, not the touristy style down on the lower road. Excellent beers on tap and a lovely homey atmosphere. Service was fine and offered with a smile.
