The ruins are located within the beautiful old (hanse town) visby. The gem of a town is worth the trip, take a walk through the small streets, you will reach the impressive ruins of St. Karin Cathedral. Absolutly stunning. The sky as a rooftop really opens the view. Stunning.

Great big cathedral! Definitely worth the visit but adds to it visiting the old ruin in combination. There are some nice places around it to, walking through the botanical garden, visiting the cathedral and then the stairs up to a good view over the city. Recommend a visit here and the walk around it! Fun fact, Gotland has 92 churches so anyone who likes visiting them will see plenty during their stay.

This monastery from the late 1100s played an important role in the history of Gotland. Today the ruins are the stage of theatre plays and other culture events. Also great to see the commitment from the local history association. A lovely visit - don't miss out!
