When you visit Gotland you see stones, falls of rocks and raukar everywhere. What a beautiful spot this Folhammar is! Children are climbing all over the stones, other people search for a little stone to take as a souvenir and all over you see the beautiful different figures out of stones that ice age created once upon a time. And moreover you can enjoy the colours of the nature: grey of stones, green and purple from grass and flowers, the blue of the sea and the skies. The sound is the best: The waves of the baltic sea. What a magical spot!

We were delighted to find an immacculate sandy beach with clear and warm water. First week off season, so not very crowded. Well worth the trip. We had a nice lunch in the surfers’ shack on the beach.

What a place... We visited Bla Lagunen in May. We had a walk around (approx 40 minutes) and a swim on a sunny and hot day with nobody around. It was very peaceful and perfect for an afternoon. We imagine that there must be a lot of people during the summer so it must be less quite and relaxing. We recommend this place if you go to Gotland.

If the weather is good go, it's a beautiful white sandy beach that runs for at least a kilometre up the coast. It's 20km from visby, but on a nice ride on a flat bike trail it's a pleasant ride...swimming in the Baltic Sea is great, the water refreshing (that's the nice way to say cold) but hardly salty at all
