The award winning Glasgow Climbing Centre offers a unique rock climbing experience, for people looking for a new sport to enjoy, or for existing climbers just arrived in Glasgow. We make full use of the converted church we are in, with climbing routes stretching up into the original oak beamed ceiling. We offer Bouldering, Top/Bottom roped climbing and Lead climbing with route graded from beginner to elite. Our great eatery, The Balcony Cafe, offers something for climbers and non climbers alike, with alternate vistas of climbing and original stained glass windows. This year we are Hit Listed by The List, as one of the finest cafes in Glasgow.
I took part in the introduction to climbing both part 1 and part 2 with my friend. It was great value for money, after the session you have a weeks free climbing and if you pass get signed off as a competant climber, plus a tea or coffee inbetween your session is a nice touch. Our Instructor was Mark and he was brilliant although he will mock your knots until you get it right, but thats the best way to be when learning to tie knots that if you tie wrong can cause serious harm. There are climbing walls for all experiences plus the auto belays as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to learn to climb properly.

The Climbing Academy is Glasgow's purpose built bouldering facility! Bouldering is a branch of rock climbing, performed at low level, usually above crash mats, and without the hindrance of equipment normally associated with climbing. This allows the participant to fully focus on the techniques and movements and makes it easier for those wishing to climb to gain a safe entry into the activity. We make getting started easy. All you need to do is to come on down, watch our 10 minute safety video and you're climbing. You can then progress through classes and coaching or just by teaching yourself. Kids can get started through Boulder Club, starting with a Taster session (which adults can attend too) and then working up through Levels 1-5 bouldering awards. If you want to climb with your families then the family inductions session is for you. Please see TCA web site for more information and contact details.

Beginning of November I took a mixed age group of 10 children to flip out for my boys bday. The duty manager advised me of the best packages which would meet our needs. And it worked out excellent value for money much better than the previous year. Today I took my boy for a 2 hour flip and again from the entrance staff, to the staff in the canteen they were all so helpful n friendly it was such a real pleasure to spend the couple of hours there. THANK U KINDLY for great service as usual.

Great fun day for my little boy who is 4. He had a ball in the toddler area and volcanoe slide. Food was great well presented and warm and plenty choice. We did go off peak time however I think some of the above reviews are expecting something unrealistic on school holiday or peak times when all these venues are the same at that time mobbed and chaos. Highly recommended
