One of the most historic sites in Spain, Girona lies in northeast Catalonia, just 99 km (62 mi) from Barcelona. Founded by Romans, the city later was taken over by Moors and Franks before finally falling under the rule of Barcelona. Influenced by different cultures and religions, the city beckons visitors with beautiful architecture. The Old and New Town offer many opportunities to pleasurably get lost and observe local life and culture.

I was born in Barcelona but I currently live in Girona. I studied Translation and Interpreter Studies and History at the University of Barcelona. I lived abroad for a few years in Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), London (UK) and Bergen (Norway) where I began working as a guide. I came back to Catalonia in 2009 and became a licensed tour guide in Catalonia, where I have been working as a guide in Barcelona and Girona since then. I am passionate about arts, history and languages, as well as traveling.
