While Atlanta is the anchor and capital of Georgia, you can aim in any direction to find distinctly different regions – from the tail of the Appalachians in the North to the rolling Piedmont hills and on down to the seaside marshes in the East. Atlanta lays claim to the state’s number one attraction – Stone Mountain State Park. They say it best - “Serious fun. Endless adventure.” Just 15 minutes from downtown, the world’s largest exposed granite dome is surrounded by 3,200 acres of natural beauty and stimulating activities for every member of the family – sky rides and hiking paths, laser shows and pedal boats along Stone Mountain Lake. Golfers tee it up, while red foxes dash across the fairways in a state where the Masters Golf Tournament creates revered green-jacket memories every year. It’s a long downhill ride down to historic Savannah, a ‘stone’s throw’ from the Atlantic and a virtual step back in time to Southern architecture and stately squares. St. Simon’s and Jekyll Islands offer barrier island beauty and a wonderful combination of outdoor activities, historic sites and artistic culture. Originally the private winter playground of wealthy northeasterners, Jekyll Island stretches along 10 miles of coastal beaches and inland marshes. Cycling and walking paths wind under moss-laden oaks, and a tour of Millionaire Village takes you back to those Cornelius Vanderbilt and J.P. Morgan days. The kid-friendly Summer Waves Water Park adds man-made fun to natural water sport activities. Coastal golf courses and sophisticated St. Simon’s Island appeal to moms, dads and vacationing couples.

Grumpy Old Men Brewery is a microbrewery located in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia. We currently have 18 beers on tap so there’s always something new and different for the craft beer lover to try!
Our group stopped by on a very busy Saturday afternoon, but were able to quickly get our beers and find a table outside. And while we were all a little nervous when we saw how many of the beers were IPAs (none of us are fans), we all were able to find something we liked. In fact, two of us are now huge Choco Blanco fans, and took a bunch home with us!

Arches Brewing is a craft brewery located just north of the Atlanta airport, in the arts district of Hapeville, GA. Our focus is bringing the best of old-world and modern brewing practices together to deliver many beer styles never commercially brewed in Georgia. Our biochemist-brewmaster, Jamey Adams, brewed his first batch of beer over ten years ago with the idea that beer could be made better through chemistry. Through many hours of brewing and tasting, we now have over 30 different distinct recipes. We have a strong emphasis on classic & seasonal lagers, but also make many American styles along with several strong Belgians. We believe doing things the old way makes for a cleaner, more complex and balanced, delicious end result. We offer many year-round styles along with many seasonal lagers which follow the European brewing calendar. We will also offer specialty and limited-release beers throughout the year available only at the brewery.

We are a veteran owned, woman run microbrewery in South Georgia focusing on crafting thoughtful, delicious and fun brews for everyone. Live music and food trucks on most weekends, and a large indoor and outdoor facility nestled in the rural Georgia woods.
Spent a weekend at Florence Marina State Park & hiked thru Providence Canyon, we stopped in Omaha Brewing for a few beers. Loved the place, we are from Ohio & have many breweries in our area & we loved this one just as much as the ones at home. People were nice, beer was good, atmosphere was great!!!

The beer was tasty and the atmosphere was nice and family-friendly! My kids, husband, and I enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at Pretoria Fields today. I was very impressed. It was busy, but not overcrowded. The Tift Park Community Market had a wonderful pop-up market set up in the outdoor seating area. This is a monthly event for the brewery, every second Sunday - I will be returning! They also had a Yoga event going on as well. Such a well-rounded community experience!

We stumbled upon this & stopped in for a drink & were happy to find an extensive variety of drafts & sparkling water for those of us that don’t like beer. Georgia sadly does not allow breweries to serve other alcohol like most states:( A window to order food from Smokejack BBQ was a nice option. Good TVs for football. Tip: Parking garage across the way in the shops or a fair amount of shopfront or street parking available!

I've been to a lot of microbreweries, and Three Taverns has to be my favorite. They have very innovative flavors, and if they say it's in the beer, you can taste it--e.g., Cream Weaver (creamsicle), Lord Fog (Earl Gray with lavender, vanilla, and cream), a key lime pie sour, a rice lager with Jasmine tea, Midnight Snack (coffee milk stout with chocolate, cherry, and hazelnut), etc. The beers are amazing! They often have food trucks on the weekends and sometimes live music. The brewery is a really comfortable spot to meet friends too.
