Terrific road out of Barwon Heads follows the length of 13th beach. Taking it in fast (in car), medium (stop at lookouts) or slow (walk beach). Sunsets are a drawcard to watch and savour.

A great place for a family day at the beach. Spacious lawn area ideal for a picnic, great facilities for the kids from the youngest to adults. Children's pool for the little ones, makes a safe environment for families. Cafe with take away food on site. Established in 1938 but upgraded only a few years back, it has always been popular with locals and visitors alike.

Just a fleeting visit for us but would have liked to stay longer. Quaint little town... Lovely public amenities... The beachfront Park area has a fabulous playground, lots of gas bbqs, tables and shade, andthe best public toilets I have ever seen... Clean.. Showers indoor and out. And lots of eating and drinking options right across the road.

Portarlington Beach is a white sand beach, a great beach for lazing the day away. The beach is on Port Phillip Bay, the water is placid -- it's a great place for families. Just remember to slip, slop, slap.

Main Beach OG is a lovely beach, patrolled in Summer which makes it safer, best to swim between the flags though.
