'Cook with delight' is a home based cooking class offered to the foreigners to learn cooking Nepalese cuisine with a lovely local family. Our intention is to teach travelers who want to learn to cook the Nepalese cuisines like Dal Bhat, Mo:mos ,etc. in Pokhara. It's a fun course where the visitors will learn, cook and then finally enjoy their own cooked dish. We love to help you cook your own Nepalese dish!!! (Note: We usually do the class at 5pm. But sometimes the guests may be messaged for different timing.)
We've had a great time at Cook with Delight. Making Mo:mo's was fun and interesting, in a home-like setting with proper instructions, tips and help to make it work. Turned out delicious! It was also nice to be with the family and seeing the nice looking hotel. Very personal and easy (how easy or hard as you like it) experience, lots of fun.

Hi! My name is Aasha and I LOVE to dance! I am from Pokhara, Nepal and began learning to dance as an 8 year old child. Dance is very important in Nepali culture and I had lessons from age 8-15. Then I began to help teach the other younger children in my home. Now I want to share my passion for dance with people visiting Nepal, to show them my culture and teach them how to dance like real locals!

We are Rekha and DB. We live in Pokhara and have our own Foster Foundation for children. We give cooking classes at our home where we teach our famous Nepalese dishes including Dal Bhat and Mo Mo. When you participate in Rekha´s Cooking Class you help to financially support the children in our foster home.
Rekha and DB are a lovely couple who welcome you to their kitchen to learn the art of cooking Nepali food. Made with love, Rekha will show you all the ingredients that go into making Dal Bhat (so you can get Dal Bhat Power 24-hour no matter where you are in the world), Aloo Dum and Momos. For almost 4 hours we laughed, prepared and cooked the food together, exchanging stories and learning some Nepali words too. I would not recommend eating breakfast beforehand because your stomachs will be more than truly satisfied with this Nepali feast!

Sound Healing Nepal is a movement, initiated by Anup Panthi, with a motive to bring wellness to people's life with the help of sound and vibration. Here my aim is not to produce singing bowls players, but to awaken the sleeping healer in you. The course primarily focuses on the awakening of esoteric healing through sounds, using external stimulation by vibration originating from nature's sound, or sound emanating from singing bowls, bells, tingsha, drum, gongs etc. Situated just 5 minutes from central lakeside, Pokhara, Sound Healing Nepal offers sound healing therapies and courses for sound enthusiasts, ranging from 1 day to 30 days. The courses are mostly arranged in a one to one discipline. We don't follow a fixed syllabus for everyone, the courses are specifically modified depending on your nature, needs and interests. Come and experience the most ancient yoga of sound (Naad yoga), learn how to heal yourself and begin your new journey as a healer.
Thank you Anup ???? You are a great teacher and a dynamic, wise soul. I am grateful to you for sharing your extensive and carefully researched knowledge ♥️ That together with your musical flair made it a truly memorable experience! What's so ironic is that I have been to such sacred, holy, spiritual places (like Tibet, Mount Kailash, Lake Manasarova, Varanasi, Rishikesh, Vrindavin, Pune, Nepal, etc) hoping to find my guru (thinking he'd be this old, grey-haired priest who started some philosophical teachings). Only to discover that a guru was not at all what I needed but instead came across a mentor in you, that's been more help on my spiritual journey than any guru or temple has been. So thank you from the bottom of my heart! Yashoda (from South Africa)

I recently completed a 3-day kayak clinic with Himalayan Kayak School and only have the best things to say. Subas is incredible at organizing a trip fully customized to your needs and helpful in crafting the perfect itinerary. We eventually landed on a 3-day trip to the Lower Seti, but there were also beginner options to go on the Trishuli River, and/or extend the trip on a moment’s notice for however long I wanted. You can tell this guy is a kayaker as much as a business owner, and he’s super knowledgeable, not pushy, and just an overall solid guy. Excellent customer service. The trip itself was incredible. I was solo, but had two guides (Krishna and Krishna) who in addition to being amazing kayakers and professional teachers, were simply fun to be around. The river is great to learn on (with a mix of easier rapids and some really fun Class 3+), and the camping experience exceeded my expectations. We had a bonfire each night and slept out in nature under just a tarp for shelter (though with more people you can also have a tent if you’d prefer). Cooking chicken on a spit over the fire, being the lone tourist in a riverside village that couldn’t have felt more authentic, and sharing a cup or two of local rice wine with the Krishnas were absolute highlights. Can’t recommend these guys enough - they’re a younger company but doing everything right!

Hemp. The first thing that might flash through your mind upon hearing this word is ganja, the image of a cannabis leaf, illegality, Bob Marley, or even vague memories from your teenage. But as many people involved in Nepal’s natural fibers industry are hoping, this word will soon invoke the image of a viable and thriving textile industry which plays significant role in boosting Nepal’s economy.
