To travel with Roshan was always very comfortable. He brought us from Galle to Udawalawe NP and to Yala NP. He was always very helpful and gave us many information about beautiful Sri Lanka and the local life. We will definetely recommend to travel with him.

This has become a top spot for all tourists and locals for sunset. You will be with around 100-200 other tourists but it is a great time to walk around as it is much cooler

Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications

Reviewed By LesleynD - Perth, Australia

We visited Galle on a day trip from Negombo. It's very clean and surprisingly not many people around except many courting couples hidden in the nooks and crannies behind a strategically placed umbrella :) We have a lovely walk around the Clock Tower and enjoyed the views of the ocean, Internation Cricket Ground and activities going on around the fort. A few vendors around the place touting their wares but not pushy. Nice historic fort to visit for a few hours.

Meera Mosque

If you time your visit well, the end of call to prayers is concluded with a beautiful vocal, which is audible from the street. The melody is haunting & really quite moving.

This Gate is the last remaining link with the Portuguese builders of the original fort in 1588 and is located on the North wall. The Coats of Arms that are visible date from the Dutch and British colonial eras. Great history and a must see in the fort.
