A 40 minute direct ferry ride from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, Galiano Island is a fabulous day trip destination for those seeking a taste of the Gulf Islands. From the spectacular white shell midden beaches at Montague Harbour, to the sandstone caves at Dionisio Point, to the art galleries and bohemian culture and shops at Sturdies Bay, this island's a wonderful place to explore for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Note that the island is rather hilly and destinations are spread out. Having a car is recommended.

Located at Montague Marina on Galiano Islands we are the only spot to Rent Mopeds, eBikes and Boats with O/B motors.
Rented a moped with my girlfriend to explore the island. We wouldn't have done it any other way. Frank gives great recommendations for spots to check out along the way, and you get to see so much in a 3-4 hour ride. What a way to spend the day. Thanks Frank!

Enjoy full or half day sailing trips around the Gulf Islands from Retreat Cove on Galiano. Explore Wallace Island & Saltspring's secluded beach at Walker's Hook from a new perspective on our 35' sloop. We recommend a 4 hour cruise from 11am to 3pm or 4pm to 8pm. We can also create a custom schedule for your pleasure. Our yacht is $100 per hour with a maximum group size of 8. You can choose the amazing salmon barbecue lunch/dinner for $25 per person.

The park explores bluffs and cliffs decorated in arbutus and Garry Oak trees. The trails and cliffside viewpoints reveal marine and ocean views. The views reach as far as Saltspring Island and include Mayne Island, Active Pass, Navy Channel and the Pender Islands.
Views over Active Pass are trumped by the dry Douglas Fir, Garry Oak & Arbutus ecosystem on the ridge. Magnificent!
