Starting from August 8th, “SUiTO FUKUOKA” will have two roles: the first one will be to make foreigners visiting Fukuoka feel the “suito” (love) by offering traditional Japanese experiences starting with the cultural heritage of the Kyushu area. Our second duty will be to make residents able to confidently make recommendations on what they “suito” in their city. I am only reviewing how to use Subway from Fukuoka International Airport to Hakata Station, which I think is the most convenient way to travel. Note that the Subway can only be taken from the Fukuoka Domestic Airport. 1. From the Fukuoka International Airport, exit from the arrival hall and find the free airport shuttle (green color bus) on the left. This bus will take about 10 mins to the Domestic Airport. 2. Once at the Domestic Airport, take the escalator down to the Subway station. Cost is Yen 200 to Hakata Station (2 stops), and takes about 10 mins. If you are staying in Tenjin Station area, cost in Yen 260
