As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 1,373, reflecting a decline of 115 (-7.7%) from the 1,488 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 40 (-2.6%) from the 1,528 counted in the 1990 Census.

A great place to shop! It is a true general store. From loose candies to fishing lures to gifts for all ages to organic foods. Whatever you are looking for you can probably find it there. Not only that but Hannah and Ben,the owners, are very accommodating and love to talk about the store and the town. If you're in Frenchtown don't miss a trip to the Sunbeam General Store.
