Explore with us the medieval cellars and water conduits, the renaissance fortifications and the modern bomb shelters of this historic city. The guides of the Förderverein Nürnberger Felsengänge e.V. will take you down into Nuernberg underground and introduce you to places that have been there for centuries but are "hidden" beneath the streets of Nuremberg. To special times there are also tours in non public cellars, like for example mostly the first week in january.

The ruins of ancient Roman baths are definitely worth a visit. They are partially reconstructed and very well maintained. Thanks to description on many information panels (in German and English) it is easy to imagine how the baths looked like in their golden times. There is quite a big parking lot close to them and they are also easily to reach by foot. It is about 10 minutes of walking from the train station. Entrance is paid, it is possible to buy a combi ticket including Roman Museum and Reichstadtmuseum in the town.
