Went there with my daughters with the intent of getting breakfast and wound up with so much more! While on vacation I don't love to cook more than I have to but I also get tired of eating out and thought this would be a nice happy medium. We arrived closer to 8 AM and didn't have trouble finding a parking spot in the historical museum parking lot. It does get crowded, so even though it is outdoors they currently have a masking policy since it is near impossible to maintain distance. The girls started out with some fresh fruit smoothies while we scoped the place out. I was so impressed by the variety of things there from goods, to prepared food, fresh flowers, and produce. And so many ethnic choices as well! One of my kids got a fresh, made to order crepe and the other got, I think it's called the little bird from 3 little birds food truck-think toad in a hole meets biscuits and gravy. I got a croissant breakfast sandwich from 3 Little Birds as well-bacon, cheddar, egg and added avacado-it was yuge! So much for just getting breakfast...We ended up getting enough food to eat for 2 more days and not have to make a trip to the grocery store. We brought home some delicious empanadas, fresh guacamole, some pastries, and more. There was a stand with Indian food and I forget what it was called, but OMG, I am still daydreaming of their food. She was giving me sample after sample and I don't even know what I was eating it was coming at me so fast and I was stuffed by the time I left. We ended up with a couple of different samosas, yogurt sauce, and a mango chutney. I'd have them ship to me if it was an option-give them a try! If I make it back to Sanibel, this will definitely be a stop on my list again!

The distillery is a very friendly, informative and well-run tour with a great tasting room and loads of funny anecdotes and stories. Daniel took us through town to a number of historical buildings and had wonderful stories to share of the people and times that built Sarasota.

The Keys only production brewery is now open to the public. In the heart of the Morada Way Arts and Cultural District, located at MM 81.6 Ocean side is where you can find Florida Keys Brewing Co. We are a small micro brewery with an artsy island vibe and brewing close to 30 styles of beer annually. YOU CAN ONLY BUY FKBC BEER IN OUR TASTING ROOM. We only brew small batches until our larger equipment arrives early this summer. Then we will only be found in Monroe county. We had an INCREDIBLE time! Shannon walked us through a tasting of all their unique spirits, and we loved hearing her passion when explaining how they create their one of a kind liquors. All the flavored spirits are infused with natural ingredients and botanicals, and there isn’t a dud in the bunch! Our personal favorites were the fruity ‘Cello’s (their take on Limoncello, with multiple flavors), the Espresso Rum, and the Smoked Pepper Vodka. We took Shannon’s recommendation and made an AMAZING spicy Vodka sauce (picture below). Can’t recommend this place enough! We’ve been coming to Fernandina for over 15 years, and this will be a new staple for us!

Florida handcrafted microdistillery aiming to produce quality cane-to-bottle and grain-to-bottle spirits. Located in beautiful Punta Gorda, FL, our Floridian rums are produced using 100% Florida cane molasses sourced from local sugar mills.
If you enjoy exceptional rum and a great business success story, be sure to visit Alligator Bay Distillery. The owner, and distilling expert, gave us a fascinating tour of the facility and described the rum making process in detail. He started the company 5 years ago and his dedication has already yielded a number of prestigious awards. We sampled and purchased the spiced rum which was incredibly smooth with notes of cardamom and ginger...delicious. They produce several flavored rums. This spot is well worth a visit to learn about rum making, to sample and buy, and to celebrate a young man’s entrepreneurial success story.

We're originally from PA, but just discovered Yuengling a few years ago. While checking out their website on a road trip to FL, we found they have a brewery in Tampa offering a FREE tour and samples! We loved it! Elizabeth was an outstanding tour guide - sharing all of the history behind this great beer, the Tampa brewery, answering all of our questions, and keeping us laughing with her humor! The refreshing samples and gift shop full of reasonably priced unique items were bonuses! Now we want to take a trip to Pottsville to tour the original brewery, too! Highly recommend this tour for all of the historical value - even if you don't drink beer!
