Deibert Park is one of the finest parks anywhere. There is ample walking trails, ponds, wildlife and room to distance from other people. You can walk in the shade or in the sun. Kudos to The City of Florence and the excellent Park employees for keeping it in pristine condition.

Whether you are looking at a college to attend or just to visit, the University of North Alabama is a great option. UNA is a beautiful campus and the city of Florence and surrounding cities of Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Muscle Shoals offer great experiences, culture and food. The beautiful TN River gives exceptional views and great for fun activities.

Beautiful scenery! Plenty of room for biking, picnics or pets. They have a frisbee golf course and campgrounds. They even have teepee you can rent to sleep in.

One of the South's best trophy smallmouth impoundments and popular for crappie and catfish. Runs from Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia to the Alabama-Mississippi Border.

We came to visit family that have a house on the rivers edge! Lucky for us! But get a B and B if you can! We’ve enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and fishing! Would love to swim but will have to come back in summer!
