This is an amazing park for everyone. Two lakes, many playgrounds, pool, has lovely areas to sit and relax and just walk. Is only some stops away by bus from the Central Station and is worth spending the day there. In winter is recommended to take your own food as the food stalls are closed.

The park is great for small children as well as for teenagers and adults. You can find attractions for all tastes and ages. It is a great alternative to Disneyland in terms of price and attractions. If you intend to go more than once a year, it is even better to make a yearly subscription with which you have access to 3 Plopsa parks in Belgium and discounts to a lot of other attractions.

Spent an afternoon there (12h30 to 17h) and only saw half of whatever they have to offer! Both children (age 6 and 11) had a great time experimenting and exploring all these exhibits. This is a real hands on experience for all ages. All actions you do are recorded on a RFID bracelet so you can check your results from home. So take a day out of your schedule to enjoy these most of this and discover things you didn't know. Parents, do all these activities too!

Bellewaerde - that's three trips in one day! Where can you go for a fun day out for the whole family? Bellewaerde, of course! Enjoy thrilling rides, marvel at exotic animals and relax in stunningly beautiful surroundings: Bellewaerde has it all!
We first visited in 2015 and were so impressed with Bellewaerde that it became our favourite theme park we'd visited to date. A second trip today three years later and we still feel the same way. The park is immaculate, the gardens and scenery are beautiful and it is a joy to walk round. The selection of animals they have alongside the rides always look happy and well looked after. The rides themselves are a unique selection that are not always found easily, such as the vekoma mad house (Houdini house), jungle mission and Huracan. Every ride is such fun and it is clear they are developing the park all the time- since our last visit they have built a new boardwalk across the lake and added a bird of prey display, a new ride Dawson Duel and are also building a water park next door due to open spring 2019. The staff we encountered were always very helpful and friendly. The app for the park is great- hight reccomend a download on busy days! We used it all day to keep track of ride waiting times which are accurate and also to see what we had missed. Even on the public holiday that we visited (may 11th) which was busy it was still totally manageable and we never waited more than half an hour for rides. In UK you would wait up to three hours for rides on busy weekends. They actually reached full capacity on this day and stopped guests from coming in which I think is a great idea for guest safety and comfort (and it still didn't feel crazy busy). Overall- Bellewaerde is a unique, beautiful, underrated park ten minutes drive outside Ieper town centre and you should not miss out!!!! (king lion is the best mascot ever)

Spitter, spatter, splash! Isn't water the max for any child? Ofcourse it is! That is why a family trip to Hidrodoe always is a very good idea. Because here you play with water and at the same time you learn a lot of new things. More than 120 fun DIY exhibits are waiting for you. Come to experiment and discover how fantastic water is.

Wow where do I start? Less than half the price of UK Center Parcs and still cheaper with travel (either fly or ferry). We got the cheapest lodge which was great, garden faced the lake, only thing missing was a BBQ so we bought disposable for 2 Euro. Kids 8 and 11. The pool was awesome and good thing is there are 4 Center Parcs within 30 mins so you can use all their facilities too. Couldn't download the app so booked on screens at the Aquadome. Most activities 10 Euro except for Water Skiing which was 20 but so much fun! Laser Tag was hilarious, climbing wall, Tower Jump the kids loved. Aquapark the kids loved (big inflatable) but us adults really struggled, much harder than UK version. Tubing - brilliant. Ate out once at the buffet, 100 Euro for the family but great food. Shows - good fun but bingo too confusing! Staff so friendly and all spoke loads of lamguages. Petting farm fun. Shop had gluten and dairy free but cafe sadly not and no soya/almond milk coffee. Bike hire - do it. Weather was 32 degrees at end of August with 1 rainstorm, lake was always warm for swimming. You'll have the best time, do as much or little as you want.
