We did a shore excursion from Casablanca to Marrakech, professional driver, always following the speed limit, guide covered everything that we ask for. Good communication by email or whatsapp. The people from the ship who stayed in Casablanca complained a lot, not a good place to spend the day. So take the tour and enjoy Marrakech.

He speaks perfectly English and relates the most important elements of Fez with those of other places, being very enjoyable. The six hours of the visit flew by. As if that were not enough, take some beautiful photos. TOP Guided FEZ TOUR!

I specifically told them that we didn't want to go shopping, the invoice even stated "no shopping/no tourist traps". Instead, they take you to "cooperatives" where they give you some basic information or demonstrations about how they make various products and then they expect you to buy something. No one is forcing you to buy anything mind you, but these are clearly "shops" and don't let them tell you otherwise. We went to a pottery school with a large gift shop, an argon oil cooperative, a carpet cooperative, a fabric weaving cooperative, the tanneries (and shop) and, even a hammam where after a brief tour, we were asked what time we would like to book our hammam experience and met with disappointment when we didn't book anything. And all of the "non-shopping shopping" meant that we were waaaaay behind schedule and eventually had to cancel our "lunch with local family" due to our having another tour we had pre-paid for and wanted to attend. The "lunch with local family" was the the part we were looking forward to the most. Waste of time and money and learned very little about Fes itself or its actual monuments and cultural sites. Waste of time and money. Would not recommend. I should have been aware that everything wasn't on the up and up when the booker kept mentioning over and over in emails how "flexible" they were (with scheduling) and "willing to accommodate" our request not to shop and seeming to take offense at simple questions or comments. If you want a shopping tour of Fes (at high price places by the way -- $48 for a bottle of argon oil and some medicinal herbs), this is the one. If you want to learn about this amazing heritage site, forget it. That said, our tour guide and driver were very nice people, just not what we asked for or told we would receive..
