Great hike that ends in beautiful views of the gorge and New River Gorge bridge! The last 0.2 miles has a bit of a steep section, but was well worth it!

Kaymoor Miners Trail

Reviewed By dctrentster

The title is a bit off. It was GREAT for 3 of us. Our youngest found it on the difficult side given the many, many stairs. It’s probably a trip for those who are in somewhat good shape as the trip back up from the stair is tough even for those in relative shape. The mine ruins are super-cool. One of them is literally super-cool (the mine vent). There were some crazy folks running it. Running, walking, or dragging…it’s a great hike.

Equestrian Adventures

Reviewed By 821errol - New Boston, United States

We visited Equestrian Adventures for the first time this week. We have a family of five with teenagers. We have all ridden previously but are not very experienced. It is a very laid back set up. We did a private ride with Gary, the owner. His instructions were quite good. Better then what we have experienced in the past. The terrain is interesting. It had rained heavily so it was a wet and slippery ride. We all enjoyed it. The horses were all good and easy to ride. One of the things we really enjoyed was that it was much less structured than the typical walking nose to tail type ride.
