Fareham (/ˈfɛərəm/ FAIR-əm) is a market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in the south east of Hampshire, England. It gives its name to the borough that comprises the town and its surrounding area. It was historically an important manufacturer of bricks (notably used to build the Royal Albert Hall, London) and a grower of strawberries. Current employment includes retail (including Fareham Shopping Centre with around 100 shops), small-scale manufacturing, and defence (with the Royal Navy's HMS Collingwood and the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory nearby).

Fareham's first role play cafe. Here you will find 9 role play areas as well as a sensory room, climbing wall, and paint your own pot to take home. It is a place where children can dress up and through imaginative play feel free to be anyone they can dream of being. The cafe serves fresh ground coffee and homemade cake as well as a full menu for those more hungry. Perfect for parents & children
This cafe is absolutely fantastic, there are so many different things for the little ones to do and it is all well thought out. There are little low walls so the little ones feel like they are independent while you can keep an eye on them and chat with friends/family or you can sit down and relax with a nice hot drink - plus the cakes they bake fresh are so yummy. The only downside is there is no on-site parking but there are lots of car parks in Fareham and the cafe is just along the highstreet from the town centre so it is easy to get to if you pop to the shops!

Rock Up is the thrilling indoor climbing adventure for all ages. 26 fantastic climbing walls towering over 8m with multiple routes to their peaks. Conquer the Stairway to Heaven or check out the awesome Vertical Drop Slide and many more. Plus we have a fabulous soft play area and also an onsite cafe offering delicious food and snacks. MOUNTAINS OF FUN FOR ALL. Novice to expert. Climb from 4+, no experience needed. Great for birthday parties and community groups such as schools, scouts, guides, home education, cadets, sports teams and many more.
We visited rock up whilst on holiday from the Isle of Wight The kids 7,9 and 15 all were excited to try the different walls! Staff were absolutely brilliant, extremely friendly and helpful. We booked in advance with no problems online. We did arrive too early as online says 30 minutes beforehand but due to covid they now ask you to come for booked time. Not a problem as there were plenty shops to visit- something for all ages. Free parking too! Although we went over (think it’s 4 hours free!) but only had to pay £2 for the whole day. Adults can also climb but neither of us had booked. Definitely will next time! Would highly recommend ROCK UP

I took my 10 year old daughter along today to a taster session and wasn’t sure what to expect. We were greeted when we arrived by our instructor, provided with shoes and taken to an area for instruction. The facilities are great and they have geared up for COVID with sanitisers in place and a one way system in operation. It all felt very structured. Our instructor was fantastic with my daughter and she helped boost her confidence and get her climbing and pushing her limits. Lots of positivity and encouragement. Really cannot fault the experience at all, everything explained to us, with passion and enthusiasm. All I heard in the car on the way home was “When are we going back?”, on this climb I did this hold, I loved this route, I did this... etc... Brilliant!

Clean and friendly: two very important things. The staff all greeted us with a smile and we were shown to our seats. One of the best I've been to.

At Morpheus Ceramics I offer pottery, ceramic sculpture and raku firing lessons from my ceramics studio. Choose from weekly 2 hour sessions to whole days, or book a drop-in workshop on a Saturday. There's the opportunity to work in stoneware both on the wheel and hand-building, surface techniques, glazing and firing. Through the summer, I run raku workshops, using the Japanese rapid firing technique to produce amazing metallic and crackle glaze effects on pottery ware and sculpture. My studio is just two minutes walk from the sea and lessons make a great day out for those who want to combine creativity with the breath taking views and walks.
