Thoroughly enjoyed the half day tour with Ben. After being picked up from our hotel, we drove ~45 minutes out to the Everglades for a nature walk followed by the airboat ride. Ben was very knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating, even providing some snacks and drinks throughout the day. We look forward to booking another tour with Wild Lime when we come back to the area, and would definitely recommend to friends.

Paddling through the mangrove forest: gliding along the marsh prairies during the Everglades Mangrove Forest and Marsh Prairie Kayak Eco tour is a mystical experience of a lifetime. The two best times of the day to experience wildlife are on our sunrise or sunset eco tours! *During Summer Months: The Sunrise Kayak Eco Tour is the best time to experience the Everglades! We set out for a morning kayak eco tour immersing ourselves into the mangrove forest while the wildlife in the Glades is waking up. Watching birds fly out for the day and the gators making an appearance. Or we can paddle back as the birds fly in to roost and the gators move about for the dusk activity, as we bask in the beauty of the gorgeous Everglades sunset! All you need to bring is you! **Please send a text to us (also avail. on WhatsApp) for personal booking conformation if booking on TripAdvisor.** **For other time slots please give us a call**

What a beautiful trip. We started out paddling in the dark with our headlamps and mosquito netting. As the sun came up the bugs went away. Jenny provided the netting, bug spray, and headlight. Her knowledge of the history and current restoration projects fit perfectly with the panorama. My daughter and I really enjoyed it. We also stopped at the Museum of the Everglades-another treasure!

I participated in an Everglades Kayak tour and this was the best experience I could have asked for. The guide was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Everything was on time and ready for us. The tour itself was serene and breathtaking at the same time - being few feet away from a gator (and there were quite a few of them around) in a kayak just a foot or so above ground is something that seems totally foreign from somebody from Colorado. It was a 2 hour drive each way for me from where we stayed in Fort Lauderdale, but it was totally worth it! The company is great too - I called few places asking for a last minute spot on a kayaking tour in Everglades and they were the only ones who not only called me back (or picked up the phone), but also made an effort to accommodate me. If we're ever back in the area, they'd definitely be on my to-do list

This is a wonderful alternative to an airboat ride … quiet, peaceful and surreal. It is a leisurely paddle experience with a naturalist guide who throughout the tour will be interpreting and explaining what you are seeing. It is a great learning experience in a very unique part of the Everglades. The Everglades is a vast and varied ecosystem containing the largest mangrove forest in North America. Throughout the forest are brackish "lakes" whose waters are a mix of "sweet" fresh water and salt water. They are refuges and nursery grounds for alligators, herons, egrets, stilts, ducks, wood storks, spoonbills, otters, orchids and bromeliads and a gamut of fishes. Some lakes are host to colonies of roosting and breeding birds. Interconnecting these lakes are narrow, flowing tidal creeks. The mangrove forest grows to the very edge and over the tops of these creeks forming a canopy or a tunnel. The dense canopy regulates moisture and humidity allowing to thrive.

We had a great experience. The captain was very knowledgeable and shared about the dolphins . We saw lots of dolphins and they followed our boat jumping in the waves. We also saw a manatee. The shelling stop was fun and we got lots of awesome shells. We also saw a rookery.

We did a three hour guided Kayak on the Turner River, leaving from Everglades City. There were five kayakers, and our Guide, Dave. The day was beautiful, warm and sunny and we saw several alligators and birds along the way. Dave's was very informative and usually kept to the back of the group, allowing each of us to take the lead, stopping in wider spots to explain what we were seeing and where we were headed next and what to expect. As he warned, the section through the mangrove tunnel was tight and quite shallow, but so beautiful. This tour was the highlight of our two day trip to the Everglades.
