We go to every zoo on our road trips that we can. This small zoo is run by the City of Evansville and is a gem. We went on the Friday of the 4th of July week and expected larger crowds, but it was not crowded at all. They don't give a AAA discount but our admission for both of us was $19. Their grounds are kept immaculately. Free parking. Clean rest rooms. Really great restaurant grill for food, no sweet stands and only one souvenir store which is unusual for most zoos. So no constant opportunities for kids to beg for goodies. We got to feed the giraffes for only $2!!, attended a free rhino talk, and we got to see them feed the jaguar. There are lots of filtered water stations thoughout the park. Really a great half day activity.
