A true Community Cinema, operating out of Billericay Library. We are a volunteer run, not-for-profit group dedicated to showing films in our community. We show films twice a month. "Film Thursday" is an evening showing, aimed primarily at adults. Tickets cost just £5 and our refreshments include tea and coffee (served in china cups !), local beers and wine (both in glasses) - even cocktails - along with other snacks - including fresh popcorn from our own machine. "Family Sunday" is an afternoon showing, aimed primarily at families (though adults are welcome on their own !). Tickets are just £2.50. Our beanbags at the front of the cinema area have proven very popular with our younger visitors as has our Art & Craft table which provides colouring and creating something at every show !

It's not the most high Tec cinema but I love it quirky comfortabke seats and diets cost a fortune for all the usual extras choose from a setter or comfy cinema seats lots of leg room as well don't let the shabiness put you off you still get to see a great film

We visited to watch Detective Pikachu and had a wonderful time. Comfortable seats, great atmosphere, delicious tango ice blast and popcorn. This cinema is great value for money and the star wars statues make it extra special. We loved it!

Visited a few times over the last few months and definitely our favourite cinema. Cosy and comfortable sofa seats, any drinks and snacks you order at the bar beforehand are brought to your seat. Very relaxed, clean and good ambiance throughout - so much better than other cinemas we have been to.

Found in the historic centre of town, our 3-screen cinema with a total capacity of 311 seats shows the best of quality mainstream including family films, independent gems and events. Two cafe bars and one roof terrace make it the ideal place to socialise and enjoy a conversation, a snack and a tipple before or after a film.
Loved it here! Great night out at the cinema with fantastic atmosphere, bar and food. Enjoyed a pizza and glass of wine on the roof terrace before reclining back in comfy seats to the watch film. I’m hooked and have now bought annual membership to take the kids to watch the latest Hollywood Blockbusters and art house films without them. Thanks for coming to Colchester Curzon :-)

Really good staff who are friendly and welcoming. The screens are all of a good size and very clean and comfortable. Its not fair to compare it to one of the new Odeon Luxe's because it is restricted by the building it is in, but they do a great job with it and keep the screens and foyer to a high standard. Some people have said that it is expensive but they charge only what is normal for the location. Highest recommendation

We are unlimited members so we always get our fill of new releases. It's a good cinema, comfortable seats and the staff always seem friendly. The auditoriums are clean too. Sometimes we wish there were more staff at busy times but we should get there a bit earlier as we know this in advance. That said, our seats are booked so no one will be sitting there. No complaints

I always use Cineworld at Queensgate. Free parking, lots of it. I've always found the staff friendly, I've read that they are rude, but if you're rude to them i dont blame them. The seating is comfy, screens a good size. Ive read that the food and drink is expensive, well dont buy it then, anyway at least then the staff wont have to clear up the mess after each film. Why dont people take their mess with them and put it in the bins provided? Because they are lazy, do they do that at home?
