Portuguese, French and Berber architecture frame the maze-like streets of Essaouira, a charming and vibrant port and resort town on the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby, couples and families stroll the beaches of Cape Sim and Sidi Kaouki, which also attract surfers of all types. Relaxation is easy to find here, as is a bus to Marrakech, for those looking for a daytrip.

God where do I start with this here don’t have enough words to compensate for this mans generosity and chivalry. In short I was a student completing research across Morocco luckily when I was in Essaouira interviewing a few locals I stumbled across atman as I was keen on horse riding and asking residents to fill in one of my research questionnaires. Eventually he gave a a very patient and wonderfully tempered horse with an oust standing temperament it’s name was LA SAMPA! After a pleasant ride on my first day with this gentleman I literally couldn’t wait to get back the next day as it was my final day in Essaouira before wrapping up my research and head in back to the uk. On that day unfortunately I was stuck for more than 10 hours completing a report to which after I finished ran across the beach with every breath I had left to make it to atman and boy was it worth it this man even invited me to his home for an evening meal with his family as it was Ramadan if this doesn’t outline his character I honestly don’t know what will I seriously recommend people to check out his Instagram @atmaneelmasslouhi10 which further outlines how happy avd healthy his horses are to which I can honestly testify having visited his home I was able to see his stables Long story short GO WITH ATMAN YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!!
