Enniscrone – also spelt Inniscrone and officially named Inishcrone (Irish: Inis Crabhann) – is a small seaside town in County Sligo, Ireland. Its sandy beach, tourist campsite, and golf course all attract a large number of visitors. The Enniscrone area includes the localities of Muckduff, Lacken, Lacknaslevia, Frankford, Carrowhubbock South and Carrowhubbock North. This is a spectacular and challenging golf course. I was part of a party of 12 who played there twice recently. The welcome on our arrival made us feel at home. The course is a real challenge. Local knowledge would be a great asset here so one should plan to play at least twice. The second time is no less challenging but you are more at ease with the targets that you should aim at. I have no hesitation in saying that I fully intend to return.

The Warren Way in Castleconnor is primarily a woodland walk with sections which cross farm land, fresh water marsh and estuarine mudflats. The interaction between these various habitats gives rise to a wealth of flora and fauna.

First time visiting here today, was well impressed with the course and facilities. We had our own equipment but everything was available in the clubhouse if we didn't. A great place to spend a few hours for all ages, we will return!
This is a pleasant walk along the beach at Enniscrone with stunning views across the Atlantic. From the promenade steps (just up from the old cliff baths) head west along the beach. Keep left along the pathway towards the lifeguard station, pass the surf schools and across the pedestrian bridge to the right; turn right down onto the beach before turning left and heading west again.
