Exciting Escapes

An Escape Room is an hour-long adventure with your friends, your family or perhaps your work-mates. It’s a bit like the Crystal Maze from TV, or a real-life version of an online Room Escape game. You play as a team and have to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete challenges to finish your mission in 60 minutes!

This was my first visit to an escape room and it defo won't be my last. 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the different tasks that were needed to be completed within this record shop in order to escape. There really was something for everyone and we all came out having had a great laugh and a lot of fun. We managed to escape with 2 minutes to spare!

Enchanted Kingdom

Enchanted Kingdom is Hereford's first and only professional intimate theatre venue aimed specifically towards children and families. With a younger target audience in mind, all of our productions are a maximum of 30 minutes long, followed by your own personal meet and greet with the stars of the show.

Wow what can I say about Enchanted Kingdom and the shows they produce? Firstly they are so unique and from the moment you arrive you can see how much thought and effort has gone into EVERY LITTLE THING. From the decor to the staff, nothing is too much and they will always go above and beyond to accommodate your needs (obviously within reason). The shows are incredible, the characters are so lifelike and you almost feel as though your watching a mini production at Disney Land. The outfits are top quality (non of the cheap stuff you often see other companies use that looks as though they're from ASDA). The originality, humour and audience engagement, I guarantee that there is something for everyone in the family no matter what the age! The grotto (which is my favourite part) is nothing less than sensational. It's so beautifully designed and Santa is really him! He's so authentic and true to character, from his classic outfit to the glasses, from his softly spoken voice to the time he spends with each child/family - you'll never feel rushed! Everything about this company is great and I would highly recommend you pay them a visit .... if you aren't already planning too :) I cannot wait for this years grotto and I have no doubt that it'll be as incredible as the previous years ????

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The critically acclaimed production is most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017. It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

We went to see parts one and two of Harry Potter and the cursed child what a great play the special effects were amazing. I have read all the books and seen the films if you haven’t it might get a bit confusing. The actor who played Scorpious was brilliant The Palace theatre is a brilliant theatre we were in the stalls with a good view. Definitely an enjoyable experience
