A friend and I spent a three hour private tour with Elisa, going through key Ravenna historical sites. The sites have been impressive, particularly inside of the churches, as I found them to be more spectacular then elsewhere in Emilia Romagna. I particularly enjoyed the private chapel of a bishop, situated inside the museum which was the last stop on our tour. Elisa is not only knowledgable and competent, with a great command of English, but also curious, smart and socially intelligent lady who gave us a good look in not only Ravenna history, but also its present through an interesting conversation and a few laughs. Well worth your time and money.

Gio and her daughters were so incredibly generous and friendly! I had the best time exploring the market with her, and learning how to buy food like a pro. As we walked, she gave me a history lesson about the city, and I feel as though I understand Bologna and Italian food culture so much more. After the market, I felt so welcomed into their home, and I learned how to cook wonderful food. The meal we shared was so special for having made it together.

The madam was going to tour us the brewery and show us how to pair food. She had health condition problem, so her brother ( I guess who is the CEO) lectured us the process of making Balsamico. He was very good presentation and everything he Showed us and told us was extremely interesting. Then he recomended three examples of usage of Balsamico. All of them tasted great. They also have cookbook in English as well as Q code shows us the cooking book. We really appreciate the CEO to be very kind for us and answering all the questions as well as pick up at the station.
