Established in 1996Skydive Kentucky™ (SDKY) was first formed in 1996 as a DBA just for the fun of jumping out of airplanes and to support Greene County Sport Parachute Center with an internet presence. Skydive KY® LLC was formed in 2001 by Jim Moore because he wanted to pressure the possibility of this being a part time venture focusing on providing independent contractor services to near by parachute centers focusing on Instruction, Parachute Rigging, Videography, Photography, and web site development to promote those activities. Skydive KY LLC opened as a full service parachute / skydiving center on July 16, 2007 at Addington Field (Elizabethtown, KY Airport) after the close of a near by parachute center. That year Skydive Kentucky attained: group membership in the United States Parachute Association, Joined the Parachute Industry Association, was granted membership in the BBB based on business history and became a member of the Elizabethtown Chamber of Commerce.

Heartland Golf Club is one of central Kentucky's most challenging 18-hole championship golf courses, and hosted the l990 Ben Hogan Tour. The course meanders through the natural rolling terrain of the bluegrass state, with scenic views, elevation changes, and serene lakes. The Bermuda greens and fairways are in excellent condition in the spring, summer and fall.
Within the last two months, the owners of this course have laid down smooth new blacktop cart paths. The greens are in really good shape. The fairways show signs of our local drought - they are currently hard to give your ball extra distance. We play in the Couples League here - great group of people, mixed ages, working and retired. We typically have good turnout, 14 -22 couples. (Yes, we triple up sometimes.) Just a fun league with friendly competition. You can enjoy a full-service bar, a deck with cornhole, and great meals from the kitchen - pizzas, burgers, salads and wraps, plus Ramin's specials when he's feeling creative. Reasonable rates to play - and eat!
The Elizabethtown Country Club is the only private club within a 30-mile radius. We are a full-service, family-oriented club with a commitment to excellence. We offer a well-maintained 18-hole golf course that can be a challenge to any handicap, but is a pleasure to play at all skill levels. Our Clubhouse facilities include a swimming pool, snack bar, and reception/banquet hall.
