At each Philae Sound and Light show, the Egyptian gods and goddesses are, like Osiris, resurrected before our eyes to tell us their life stories. What would Isis say today if she learned that her temple was allowed to sit in water for many years? She would not be happy with this, but she would be proud to know that, like her husband Osiris, Philae was reborn so that new visitors can see the glory of Philae year after year. ...
This is a once in a lifetime experience to udnerstand the glorious civilizational history of Egypt. This area was one of the most important seat of Egyptian history.

This ship was ornate and lovely- It was a great experience with good food buffet style, and great entertainment which included live music, belly dancer and amazing whirling dervish. My daughter and I had a terrific time.

Every day when the sun sets, the bustling city of Cairo, the famous pyramids on the Giza plateau south of Cairo are absorbed in the darkness of the night, however, the great light and sound show bring them to life again. Thousands of years have passed since the Pharaohs walked on this Earth, but with your imagination and our show, we bring the history alive to you; every show provides attendees with a learning experience about ancient Egypt as of its significant beginning, the pyramids https://www.facebook.com/soundandlightegypt/
I was in Cairo for business for 1 day and stayed overnight 1 night. My host took me to the sound and light show at the pyramids. I really enjoyed it. It’s very hot weather suiting the day but the evening cooled off nicely. It wasn’t crowded at all and my host purchased the tickets when we got there. We took some nice photos and the show lasted 1 hour. I would plan to go inside the pyramids the next time I come but seeing them at night was quite special with the moon and stars.
