Take a long walk around the centre to explore the World Heritage Sites of the Old Town and New Town, as well as all the area’s museums and galleries. Then stop for a delicious meal made from fresh Scottish produce before heading out to take in one of Edinburgh’s many events — including the famous summer festivals of culture, or the Winter Festivals of music, light and ceilidhs.

My pals & myself have a great weekend totally facilitated by Bridge 8 Hub. Saturday morning we got canoes with all the gear & some instruction & we were on our way, one of the guys from Bridge 8 even cycled along to see if were were ok! We stopped at Bridge Inn Ratho for a delicious lunch and then back in the canoes to Linnwater & on to our campsite. Sean at Bridge 8 Hub collected us from the canal & dropped us off at the campsite with a pizza oven for our evening meal. Sunday morning and our bikes are dropped off for a stunning ride back on the canal towpath. We were lucky with the weather & good company! Sean was a wonderful host & gave us options on what we might do, its great to be able to access this in Edinburgh, we will be back! Thanks all x
