In October 2019 my brother and I had the pleasure to visit Chitwan National Park under the guidance of (Kumar) Lama. After a long bus ride from Kathmandu we were welcomed at the Earth Light Hotel. The had everything we needed, and more! The place was well-maintained, clean, had a swimming pool and the (all inclusive) meals were good. The staff was very polite. During the three days, Lama had prepared a program for us which included various activities such as jungle canoeing, visiting an elephant pharm, a local village an dance show. The absolute highlight was the jungle walk where we encountered a rhinoceros! I would describe Lama as a helpful, professional, sincere and enthusiastic guide. After the three days it felt like we made a friend! We hope Lama and the hotel are doing well and we wish him and his family all the best during these difficult Covid times. Best regards from Amsterdam, Eric.

My dad, his two friends Ray, Linda and I completed Everest Base Camp trek in December 2019. Varat was our guide and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the trip of a life time and that we did! Nir Kumar and Chantra were our porters who were also incredible and cannot believe how strong they both were! A big blizzard hit the region the day we went to base camp and covered all everything in snow the way to Lukla, This then turned into extremely slippery ice and these boys basically ran down the hills with massive packs, have no idea how they do it?? From when he first greeted us at the Kathmandu airport we knew we were in great hands. He welcomed us and made us feel extremely comfortable with his contagious smile (He looked just as excited as us). Our plane was late arriving and he acted like it was nothing having to wait out in the cold Nepal winter for us. The hotel was lovely and beyond my expectations, this seemed to be a common occurrence for the whole trip. Varat was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions, trust me I had millions! He was also very honest and would let us know when he was unsure and would always try his hardest to find the answer. We all really appreciated his honesty, modesty and cheerful spirit. We past many other groups on our trip and no one seemed as happy with their guide, porters and trekking agency as we were. Varat also made many upgrades for us in regards to rooms, our accommodation was always top notch and had beautiful views and attached bathrooms whenever possible. Even though the trip would have been incredible as this really is the trip of a life time and been on my bucket list for many years, Varat made it more special than you could ever imagine! He made us feel like family and hope we are able to book another Nepal trip with him in the future. The trip itself was breathtaking both literally and figuratively (Altitude really does get you haha). The people the culture and the scenery with unreal and I wish our trip was longer than 16 days. Thank you so much to the Himalayan Recreation Treks and Expeditions team for making our dream come true and making sure everything was planned down to the little details. We were very anxious about our journey and didn’t know what it would entail but they put our mind at ease. Trust me you will not regret booking with Himalayan Recreation Treks and Expeditions and hope your trip goes as perfectly as ours.

This was an absolutely amazing trip. Pasang arranged all the details for smooth transport from the airport to my hotel, where he and my guide updated me on additional info for the trek. Transportation and accommodations were all safe and comfortable. Great food at each of our stops. Pasang and Nema are both welcoming, with a great sense of humor, care for safety, and awareness of different levels of support that participants require. This trek is doable with moderate fitness level and some basic training. Pack light! I also brought a water bottle with a built in filter, which made it easy to fill up at the water foundations regularly along the path. Pasang went above and beyond and arranged a quick tour through some of the must see sites and stupas in Kathmandu before I had to get to the airport. I only had a short time to stay in Nepal this trip, but would definitely come back for a longer and more extreme adventure with Pasang and his crew. Cannot thank you enough for making me feel safe and comfortable on this trek!

I just returned from my fantastic trip to Everest base camp by helicopter. It was a wonderful experience. I booked a group joining helicopter tour as private trip was out of my budget. I enjoyed the company with other passenger of the flight. We chat a lot while waiting for the flight and had a lovely breakfast together at Hotel Everest view. The booking process was very easy and the company contacts me just right after I made the booking. They provide the very helpful tips before going on the flight. While we flew to Lukla, the weather on the way was not good and worried, we may not see the mountains, but when we go higher locations, the weather become more clear and clear. The landing in Kalapattar was amazing experience. We saw the many mountains including Mount Everest just in front of us which were unbelievable experience. If you are visiting Nepal and want to see the Himalayas, nothing can be better then Everest base camp helicopter tour. Highly highly recommended.
