Fraisthorpe Beach

The cow shed is a lovely ( posh upmarket ) little cafe with a very good chef delivering delicious food with friendly staff , its a very safe place during this pandemic as they are taking every precaution on our behalf. Yes the food is expensive compared to other cheap and cheerful seaside cafes , but this one isn’t serving you cheap rubbish!!! you get high end restaurant quality food in a lovely stylish environment, so the food and venue is well worth the extra cost . If you want tea in a crappy mug and a burger with no meat in it try somewhere else .

North Landing Beach

Love this beach, purchase some good robust sea shoes and when the tides out you can explore the rock pools but please be aware of the tides they come in quick and you can be easily cut off. I have had to swim back to shore when cut off. Not for the faint hearted has there is a rather steep hill to get down to the beach but it is well worth it, please note the toilets are at the top so make sure you go before going down to the beach. There is also great cliff top walks to Flamborough Head lighthouse and you can go further and make it to Daynes Dike or even Bridlington and the other way to Thornwick Bay and beyond to Bempton. Brilliant for bird watching and hikers. PLEASE ENSURE YOU TAKE ALL YOUR RUBBISH BACK TO THE BINS AT THE TOP.

this is one of them places which is a must visit. loads of caves and coves to explore for the family and if your really lucky like we was you get to see the seals which in its self was amazing. steps all the way down to the beach - a bit harder on the way back but more than worth it - rock pools its an endless day day there and and put it on your bucket list. and when your done there's a great cafe at the top which do a brill breakfast. also at the top there,s a vast of coastal walks also you can walk up to the famous drinking dinosaur rock formation. parking was great also think it cost us £3 for the whole day also little gift shop at the top - lighthouse and toilets. A must place to visit 100%

Hornsea Beach

Reviewed By 76glynnm - Hornsea, United Kingdom

We visit Hornsea North beach regularly. It has great clean sand and views to Bridlington to the North and Withernsea to the South. Hornsea is relatively unspoilt and the North Beach is dog friendly and very popular with fishermen throughout the seasons. There are cafes, fish and chip shops and restaurants nearby as well as The Floral Hall which stages various events and has an adjoining cafe. Just as you leave the beach is The Marine Hotel which serves good food and excellent real ales at good prices.
