More than "just" a library we provide a community resource, catering for all ages. As well as welcoming locals we are delighted to have visitors coming in and using our facilities and joining in our activities. If we're busy you may have to wait a short while for assistance but you can be assured that we are always polite and friendly, treating everyone with respect! We have tourist information including bus and train timetables. We also have lots of resources on local activities and services. We have WiFi and computers and i pads. We have a great selection of books too - including old ones for sale very cheaply! We have a very up to date Junior Library and are very proud of its wide stock! If we don't have what you need, or can't answer a question, we'll do our best to help. We have a quiet garden where you can sit and enjoy the peace and the flowers. We have a toilet for customer use and can provide a cup of tea or coffee - or bring your own from a nearby cafe. Everybody welcome.

Much more than a traditional library we welcome all ages for a variety of events, activities and resources. As well as welcoming locals we are delighted to have visitors coming in and using our facilities and joining in our activities. We are also a Visitor Information point so can find out about local attractions, events and resources. We also have free Wi-Fi and computer access for all.
Much more than a place to borrow books. Charlotte and her helpers make this a community hub, running activities for all age groups. The Friends of Southwold Library organise activities to raise needed extra revenue. It will be even better when they finally move into their new home in the old Hospital.

Norfolk's premier golfing and dining destination. Featuring a stunning new 18-hole golf course and The Stables - Norfolk's newest dining and conference destination. Open 7 days week, to all.
I visited the “new” Royal Norwich for the first time on Friday and it was a wonderful day. The clubhouse is stunning....I love the contemporary open plan bar, restaurant and kitchen......the quality of the finish is second to none and it has a lovely feel. What really elevated it though were the staff, from walking in to reception, the pro shop and the bar and restaurant staff.....all super friendly and professional. Those of us that have played at lots of different golf courses know this is not always the case. Now on to the golf. A super course. I played the old Weston Park and whilst there are a small number of holes that remain, the transformation is amazing. Most holes are inviting from the tee......the devil though is in the detail. Well designed but tough bunkers and the greens, well, very big, lots of undulations and if you are the wrong side of the pin or putting from distance.....good luck! Excellent practice facilities as well. Finally, just want to comment on the 19th hole after the round. We sat outside in beautiful sunshine with the best burger I’ve ever had......delicious! It was obviously freshly made and do doubt with local ingredients.....well done Chef and the team! All I can say that this was one of the best golf days out I’ve had and I am really looking forward to visiting again. PS.....they have also got a small micro-brewery on site!

Loads of car park spaces, clear signage, great amenities, cafe etc. Kids have plenty of options to decide on from the various play areas, activities and trails. This is an active RNLI lifeboat station that is free to visit, but open to the public and donations can be made. From the large viewing gallery you can see a Tamar class lifeboat close too, unfortunately unless it is an open day (about 2 a year) or lifeboat day (22nd July 2018) you cannot get onboard. In the next few months we hope to improve the facilities and offer visitors an insight of the boat via pictures and videos.
Very interesting visit - good to see the history of the lifeboat station and the rescues that have been undertaken. Small gift shop that all benefits go to lifeboats.
