An exciting shipping container complex on the seafront at Felixstowe, Suffolk where you can eat, drink & shop. Featuring delicious street-food and boutique shops, Beach Street is a community of local and creative businesses, in fashion, arts, crafts, street food and refreshments. Currently we have Pizza, Waffles, Vegan and a Coffee house for the catering - with more opening soon including American / Mexican fusion and a seafood restaurant with sea view balcony. Phase 2 of Beach Street will be open in 2022 and will include more shopping and leisure activities, watch this space ...

This small arcade in the heart of Norwich is a classic beauty from the Art Noveau period of the very early years in the 20th century. It is opposite the sprawling and charmless Castle Mall shopping centre - the contrast between the two could not be greater. Unfortunately a few of the shops in the arcade were empty when I visited, though there was an attractive cafe called Marmalade doing very good business as was a small shop specialising in macaroons.

Located in the centre of Norwich City, Castle Quarter centre comprises of 60 stores and food outlets, across five levels of retail and leisure, including an 8-screen Vue cinema. The centre also boasts a 790 space multi-storey car park.
We visited the new Castle Quarter for a birthday in the soft play area at the back of the arcade games. There is lots to keep anyone occupied. Bowling and Soft play are the biggest attractions. Nice and clean areas and staff were friendly and helpful.

My first review was back in 2014 when there was only one shop open on the upper floor. Since then Empire cinema opened upstairs, a much needed competition to keep Cineworld on their toes. They also have a small coffee/snack place on the way to the cinema. You also have Creams, a waffle/pancake/icecream place, where you can satisfy your sweet tooth and once you feel guilty enough you can do some sports either at the gym, or at the gaming centre where bowling, airhockey and others are available. Downstairs you also have Krispy Creams Donughts, if you want an alternative sweet, which recently added tables as way, so eating there is available. Compared to what it was, much improved experience.
