In the plane with excellent instructor, making me feel at ease, then the astonishing feeling sitting on the edge of plane... then the big free fall absolutely fantastic feeling ever.

I would highly recommend Tilney Sports, we went today for our first time and played disc golf and it was such a fun day out we will defiantly be returning to do this again and the foot golf on site too. Great facilities onsite and David was very friendly.

Stand in the evocative workhouse settings, face to face with projections of staff and inmates and listen to first hand stories, often tragic, sometimes inspirational, from the people who once walked these whitewashed corridors. Visit Land Girl and Lumber Jills, old village shops, re-created cottage garden, orchard and traditional farm with rare breed livestock. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse makes a superb setting for themed event days, family fun activities, school holiday fun and courses in traditional crafts.
I visited (with a friend) Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, last Thursday (March 12th), my friend got in free, because I have got health issues, we enjoyed looking around many parts of the Museum, including the Museum of Norfolk Life, the Engineering Galleries, the Rural Life Gallery, the 1950's Room, the many sections of the Museum, where you could read about the Workhouse, Cherry Tree Cottage, the School Room, the Chapel and Village Row Shops, we also enjoyed looking at the Panhard Car, there was lots of interesting information, to read, there wasn't time to read everything, unfortunately, me and my friend, didn't have the time to visit Gressenhall Farm, we will definitely visit the Farm, next time, we visit Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, we went in the Mardlers Rest Cafe, where I enjoyed a cup of Tea, a Bakewell Tart and a packet of Cheese and Onion Crisps, my friend enjoyed a cup of Tea, I bought some nice items, in the Gift Shop, the staff at Gressenhall, were very friendly, I last visited Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, two years ago, with my mum and her sister, recommended for anyone interested in history.

Amazing for toddlers!! A warm and friendly welcome, well set up for social distancing with a one-way system, request to touch the interactive buttons with feet or elbows etc. Unlimited crazy golf course play included in entry and feeding the fish (for 20p) plus the sunshine made it a fab full afternoon out for the whole family (2 adults, toddler and infant).

As a family we holiday in Norfolk every spring. We love visiting the Yarmouth Stadium for greyhound racing, and last year had a delicious dinner in the main restaurant watching the dogs. We were booked in for dinner and racing again this year, and had paid a deposit. Sadly due to the coronavirus outbreak the evening had to be cancelled. I wanted to write a review to say how impressed we were that Yarmouth Stadium called us to explain the situation and refund us our money without any prompting. Emma was polite, courteous and very efficient on the phone. We look forward to visiting again next year.

OPEN SATURDAY 25th MAY TO SUNDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2019 Nothing beats swimming outdoors so why not visit Beccles Lido? The 30metre x 15metre outdoor pool, separate toddler pool and paddling pool are all heated to 27°C. There is a slide, springboard and giant-inflatable. Beccles Lido is on Puddingmoor, next to the River Waveney, with lots of grassy areas, sunloungers, tables and chairs to relax on. The cafe, with covered eating area, serves hot and cold snacks, delicious fairtrade coffee, tea and Italian hot chocolate, cold drinks and ices. Beccles Lido is the perfect place for a swim or a family day out. We also offer Canoe Hire (advance bookings only) from the Lido so you can take a paddle along the beautiful River Waveney. Or take a more relaxing river trip on Big Dog Ferry to the historic Locks Inn, Geldeston.
Due to Covid-19 you do need to book via their website but this is easy to do. I book a week ahead to be sure of getting the slot I want. There are sessions for just lane swimming, choose between slow, medium or fast for 45 mins in the pool. There are also family fun sessions for one hour (half the pool is lane swimming - fast & medium lanes only, and half the pool for family swim). It is all clearly explained on the website. All of the sessions are a great price. The pool has been refurbished and is lovely to swim in. It's a good temperature. The staff are friendly. Swimmers are courteous of each other in terms of getting to the end and then stopping to let faster swimmers go ahead of them. It's all very clean and the team are carrying out a clean between each session. You have your temperature checked before you go in. There are changing rooms you can use after your swim and showers and toilets. You have to go beach ready but there are lockers to store your clothes in. There's plenty of room to space out whilst getting changed and walking in and out. I feel very safe. There are places to park near by and I've not had trouble finding a space. I park in a free car park just a short walk from the Lido. I am so glad the Lido re-opened and it's been a lifesaver for me!
