Always a good place for a walk at any time of the year, especially in the summer when the wildflower meadows are in full bloom. All credit to the landowner who has provided this to the public and keeps it looking good, with the paths regularly mowed. Park in the Caistor Roman Town car park just across the road and you can visit that free as well!

What beautiful gardens, they are well tended, a mass of snowdrops, crocus, tulips, daffodils, all sorts of plants. Well worth a visit.

A wonderful place for coffee and cake Annabel makes one of the best coffees around accompanied by her own baked cakes her famous lemon drizzle and gluten free friendly almond are fabulous. This is combined in a wonderful parkland setting with unique individual heated sheds for privacy and peacefulness. It cannot be overlooked.

We have a small herd of eleven alpacas that live with us in the wonderful surrounds of the South Norfolk countryside, where we provide a lovely permanent home and sanctuary for our family of fleeced creatures. We offer an exclusive, intimate and personal alpaca experience for small groups with these enchanting, curious animals. We would love you to come and visit us. Please book in advance through our website.

We have a small farm with about 50 alpacas.Walk with alpacas through beautiful countryside and walk around the farm and meet the babies and possibly bottle-feed a baby alpaca.Learn about the fleece and even walk your alpaca around an obstacle course with rosettes for everyone. Fun for all the family with this small family run herd we look forward to meeting you

Lovely non commercialised and relaxed place for the children to pet the very friendly animals. Lovely play area and picnic area which includes trampoline dug into the ground. Very good value for money.

Stand in the evocative workhouse settings, face to face with projections of staff and inmates and listen to first hand stories, often tragic, sometimes inspirational, from the people who once walked these whitewashed corridors. Visit Land Girl and Lumber Jills, old village shops, re-created cottage garden, orchard and traditional farm with rare breed livestock. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse makes a superb setting for themed event days, family fun activities, school holiday fun and courses in traditional crafts.
I visited (with a friend) Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, last Thursday (March 12th), my friend got in free, because I have got health issues, we enjoyed looking around many parts of the Museum, including the Museum of Norfolk Life, the Engineering Galleries, the Rural Life Gallery, the 1950's Room, the many sections of the Museum, where you could read about the Workhouse, Cherry Tree Cottage, the School Room, the Chapel and Village Row Shops, we also enjoyed looking at the Panhard Car, there was lots of interesting information, to read, there wasn't time to read everything, unfortunately, me and my friend, didn't have the time to visit Gressenhall Farm, we will definitely visit the Farm, next time, we visit Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, we went in the Mardlers Rest Cafe, where I enjoyed a cup of Tea, a Bakewell Tart and a packet of Cheese and Onion Crisps, my friend enjoyed a cup of Tea, I bought some nice items, in the Gift Shop, the staff at Gressenhall, were very friendly, I last visited Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, two years ago, with my mum and her sister, recommended for anyone interested in history.

I can't speak highly enough regarding the generosity of the Lord Melford's children allowing the public to wander on their farm paths - fantastic place for an excellent walk
