Cloud 9 Studio Gallery is an artist led gallery in Dumfries town centre. Owned by artist Julie Hollis the gallery displays her work in 2D and 3D as well as the work of carefully selected local artists and craftspeople. A calm and reflective space, Cloud 9 is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year, and on most Tuesdays Wednesdays and with additional opening hours at Christmas.

Cut the Mustard Gallery showcases high quality art and craft from approx 50 artists and makers. The gallery is a friendly, relaxing space and visitors will receive a warm welcome. There is an in house jewellery workshop and the gallery stocks jewellery from around 25 jewellery designer makers at any one time, pieces include wedding and engagement rings. We have a rolling programme of exhibitions and run art and craft classes from our studios. Dogs and browsers are very welcome.

It is also the showcase of award winning landscape and fine art photographer Phil McMenemy.You will receive a warm welcome and be surrounded by wonderful imagery of Galloway and Scotland. Images are presented in a variety of styles, sizes and prices from small mounted images to large installation pieces - however, one of the key aspects of the Gallery at Laurieston is that it allows you the opportunity to select the exact size and style for your home or business. A warm welcome awaits to our family run traditional Antique Shop in the rural Scottish town of Castle Douglas. We stock collectables, curios and unusual vintage items. The store has a large front and rear shop selling items such as furniture, tables, desks, chairs, Tiffany lamps, silver candle sticks, bronze figurines, diamonds and jewellery. Stock changes weekly.
