Seated tasting-10,00 eur/person Take a seat and enjoy tasting in our 200 years old family house. We are open 13.00 h- 20.00 h every day for tasting and sales from June to October.
When we arrived at Vino Spaleta, Renata greeted us and we enjoyed her presentation and video detailing the history of the vineyard. The tasting menu was excellent and paired beautifully with the wines. All the wines were excellent and the reds were some of the best we have ever tasted. Ivo joined us and we had a great time. By the time we left, we felt as if we were old friends. We bought bottles of the white, rose and red. After I raved about her fig jam, Renata gifted me with a jar of delicious preserves. This winery is not typical of the large tasting rooms, it is a small family vineyard. The tasting is more like a visit to a friend's home. It is worth your time to go to Kuna and taste their excellent wines!

Enjoy local food and wine in a hidden gem in Konavle valley. Taste our wines with a traditional Dalmatian plate(prosciutto, cheese, ham..) and also with homemade liqueurs-sage liqueur, cherry brandy, and a special one-wine liqueur! Don't forget to take a camera, just relax and enjoy it!
This family run winery is located a bit off the beaten track. About 26 km south of Dubrovnik but only 6.4 km from our villa in Ljuta. After a few days of glorious madness that is Dubrovnik old town, a visit to Winery Botaro was like an oasis of calm. Peaceful on the slopes of the Dinaric Alps, surrounded by grape vines, the Winery has some shaded wooden tables outside the main building. Next to the tables is the vineyard shop which is set out like a market stall. There is also a very nice inside area also with wooden tables. These tables are where the magic happens. On offer is a selection of liqueurs, wines, sugared fruit peel, cold meats, cheeses and salads. Served by the owners, and family, all produce was beautifully presented and really tasty. Totally authentic Croatian food and drink, made in a completely traditional way. It was a pleasure to visit these friendly and welcoming people. Highly recommended.

Peljesac Peninsula , a place where sun, sea and stone create a perfect home for Plavac Mali , indigenous Dalmatian variety that brings out the best from the "barren land" and gives us "divine nectar." Marlais family, that drags roots from France, settled on the peninsula in the early 17th century, bringing with them the knowledge that every Frenchman has in its blood - how to make good wine.
Anton gave us a tour of the facility and we got to see how the wine goes from harvest to bottling at the this family owned establishment. Anton was so personable and proud of his product. We had the 3 wine tasting menu with 1 white and 2 reds. All were excellent. If I could figure out a way to ship them to the US I would have bought a few cases. The carob Sherry was insanely good. I definitely recommend a stop at this winery.

We started by tasting their grappa- the peach one was delicious, the rose one was very floral tasting, and the unflavored one tasted like moonshine. We were served 3 large oysters (very salty) with a white wine, 2 types of cheese with prosciutto and spring greens with tomatoes with a 12 month old and 2-3 year old red wine, and our last dish was mussels in a garlic sauce which was my favorite. There was no pressure to purchase anything like the last winery as this one is really small. The owner was very nice.

We are a family owned winery in Lumbarda that produces wine by generations. We offer two premium wines - white wine Grk and red wine Plavac. Feel free to visit us.
We are so glad we booked this experience in advance. I don't think we would ever think back on our time in Croatia without remembering the time we spent at this winery as we had the best experience that was far beyond our expectations. This family have a huge history here and we loved learning all about it. Now we have a new appreciation for our wine in New Zealand as the forerunner to introduce wines to our country came from the Nobilo family, here in Lombardy. We have had many winery tours, this personalised one was the best. It was such a reasonable cost for delicious and generous wines and food.

We had a very great experience! At first, we weren't sure what to expect as the place isn't big! We entered the place and there was no one, but a small note on the counter tells you to hit the call bell on the counter. A very friendly woman came from the other side of the door and even if there were in the middle of their lunch she was very welcoming and happy to serve us. She was very friendly and she explained to us what is the difference between the Plavac Mali wine and the Dingac. While both are made from the Plavac Mali grape, the difference lies in where the grapes grow. The Plavac Mali grow inside the land ending up having less hours of sunshine and more humidity. The Dingac is cultivate on the slope of the mountains, having more hours of sunshine and less humidity. In the end, it gives to the Dingac a more robust, complex product that the Plavac Mali, and so delicious! They are also doing other stuff such as Olive Oil and some Sweets. Both amazing too :) Finally, thanks to our host to tell us about the tunnel that brings you on the slope of the mountain on the sea side... the view is outstanding! (See photos). It's where they are cultivating the grapes to make the Dingac. In the end, I highly recommend stopping you by that winery as you will feel welcome and not rush and they have great products.

Wine and olive oil have marked the lives of the people of Peljesac and left a deep mark in the tradition of the peninsula. At the foot of Postup is the village of Mokalo, home to the Boutique winery Mikulic. It is decorated in the style of traditional Dalmatian taverns, where the greatest Dalmatian treasures have been carefully kept for generations.
